Vuvuzelas are slowly taking over the Internet
To many they have been the bane of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, but it seems that the internet has been embracing the phenomenon of the vuvuzela with several humourous portrayals of the annoying plastic horns being found across the web.
Here is just a snapshot of how the humble vuvuzela has been invading not only our TV screens but also our computer desktops over the past few weeks.
The Vuvuzela Concept
Firstly, for those unfamiliar with the concept of the vuvuzela or its usage at football matches on the African continent, here is a handy little guide as to where and when it is appropriate to toot heartily upon this giant colourful bugle during the ninety minutes of the match.

The Vuvuzela Browser
Secondly we find a handy little gadget for those who just get enough of the damn things while they’re watching the footy. Clicking on this link in any browser will see a miniature African football fan pop up in the corner of your screen to positively serenade your ears with the vuvu’s sweet and gentle timbre.

The Vuvuzela Button
Finally on our journey to discover how the internet has been affected by the vuvu craze, we find that even YouTube has not been averse to its enchanting and mystical sound.
On some of its videos, the internet video giant has installed an icon shaped like football. If this button is clicked, well, why don’t you find out for yourself…
