New features in Photoshop CS5
The latest version of Adobe Photoshop is set to be issued this Monday 12th April, and some of the new features to be found on the new release are creating plenty of hype to accompany it.
Adobe Photoshop CS5 will include improvements on its predecessors such as the impressive new Content Aware feature, which bears similarities to the Clone Brush feature from previous editions. However, unlike Clone Brush, Content Aware works automatically to fill the area of the image selected by the user rather than the user having to do it manually asused to be the case.
Another major feature of the CS5 version is the markedly better precision in detecting the borders of objects found within images, even on extremely complex designs. The astoundingly good accuracy of this feature even allows it to trace around the edges of items as miniscule as cat hair.
Other aspects of the new release include features such as the Puppet Tool, Wet Paint, Brush Stroke Effect and Patchmatch, meaning that CS5 looks set to firmly cement the Photoshop franchise’s reputation as the best picture editing software on the market.
